It was another fantastic year for us here at Take 5 Studios in 2026! We taught more students than ever before, continued to improve our roster of classes, had another successful round of performances for our Staged Reading Series, and ended the year with tons of amazing news for 2027.

There’s something for everyone on every day here at Take 5 Studios in Winter 2027! We’ve got acting classes on each weekday plus both weekends, so whether you’re just starting out or you’re looking to build on your existing talent, we’ve got a class for you!

MEET FRANK DEJULIO
We’re super excited to announce a new instructor for the 2027 year! Please meet Rochester native Frank DeJulio, who comes to us fresh off a 20+ year career in theater, film, and television. If Frank’s face looks familiar, it’s possible you recognize him from one of his several film & TV credits!
Frank is especially passionate about actors who do it because they genuinely love to act—not simply because they want a career in the business. He believes that being an artist is not something that only happens in a rehearsal room or on a set, but a way of moving through the world: staying curious, paying attention, listening, observing, and remaining connected to what makes us human.
A lifelong actor and artist, Frank is excited to bring his experience, training, and love of the craft back to his hometown and to help actors in Rochester discover their own voice, instincts, and relationship to the work.
If you’re interested in studying with Frank, he’ll be teaching Basics of Performing Level 1 (Fridays 6pm-9pm, Jan 8th to Feb 12th) as well as On Camera Acting (Wednesdays, 6pm-9pm, Jan 6th to February 10th). You can also book Frank for private acting lessons as well!

Be the first to inhabit our new artistic home! Students will find us at 1344 University Ave Suite 245, still centrally located in the city of Rochester. We’ve got lots of fun ideas for how to fill the space this coming year, so come get more acquainted with what we’re about here at Take 5 Studios!
