What We Do

Take 5 Studios is an acting studio located in Rochester, New York that is designed to offer classes, coaching, and assistance to professional actors looking for training or anyone who’d like to learn a little bit more about the craft.  As a dedicated acting studio with a virtual arm, we can offer training to students at a time and place that works for them, or through in-person classes held in our studio.

    

Not only do we offer coaching, Take 5 Studios can help put you on tape!  With so many auditions being self-submissions, we offer a solution for actors who need to get an audition submission in on time, but don’t want the hassle of having to find a reader and edit their take.  If you book a self-tape with us, you’ll have a ready-to-send copy available to you prior to your deadline!

Who We Are

Take 5 Studios was formed by father & son duo Tom and Eric Loughlin, who together have over 50 years of experience in the business spanning theater, television, commercials, podcasts, and industrials. Please feel free to see our individual bios below.

Why We’re Here

We firmly believe in our mission statement that “Acting is for Everyone.” If you’re already an actor or a performer, we have several offerings to sharpen your skills for the camera or the stage. Not a professional actor?  That’s great!  We think that anyone who’s interested should take an acting class. Here’s a Forbes article about how acting classes can improve your leadership skills. 

Just as there are people who dance or play an instrument who are not professional dancers or musicians, so too are there those who love the idea of acting who are not professional actors. We encourage that, and highly recommend our classes for anyone who feels they’d like to perform!
